Adrian Scott (MSc, FRGS) has over 25 years of experience in international sales and marketing within the manufacturing sector and, most recently, as Export Sales Director and then Vice President – Export Sales. Past customers and clients have included UK and foreign government bodies, various UN organisations, major non-governmental organisations (NGO)s, mining companies and private businesses.
During this time Adrian sold many types of drilling rigs and packages of drilling equipment throughout the world, including within hard to reach countries. As well as rigs and drilling tools, the packages of equipment have often included trucks, 4×4 vehicles, compressors, generators, spares packages, hand tools and PPE.
He has also engaged commissioning engineers to run training programmes within Africa and the Middle East, and liased with in-country dealers to provide service support for equipment. A number overseas sales agents continue to work closely with Adrian to help identify key areas and contacts on the ground.
Throughout Adrian’s long-established career he has travelled widely, attending trade exhibitions, trade missions and meeting clients and prospective customers face-to-face.
